Well obviously the ad agency share a love/obsession/deaper understanding of pad thai!

I still don't quite know how I got my job, I always feel unprepared and that every example or response I give makes me sound about 12 years old, then like a big old happy slap in the face - congratulations, you got the job! Huh? How exactly?

Anyhoo, I digress, congrats on the second interview and best of luck!!! :)

Aw wow, I know exactly what you mean about the whole effort and result thing seeming inversely related. My latest thing is sort of summed up by this webcomic: http://machall.com/view.php?date=2005-06-02

I feel like that rat being randomly shot down for things I tried hard for, and being rewarded for things that surprised me. And seeing it happen to other people too.

I'm not looking forward to life after school, because I was always a fan of the work-hard-reap-the-rewards school of thought, but that seems to sort of randomly work at the best of times.

I hope you get the job though. My approach (which by no means is the way to go :P ) would be to prepare for the most part, and then look to the next thing. I find I don't overdo the present if I've got something to look ahead to.

But maybe that's just like you - good at planning and getting things rolling, not so good at getting the result :P

I'd definitely date a plumber. To be honest, I like construction workers. To me, doing an honest day's work is REALLY sexy.
