I might as well be hit by a truck. Repeatedly.
I don’t know what’s been going on lately but I feel like I could walk out any minute and get struck by lightening. Twice.
Ever since the turn of the new year, I have had the. worst. luck. ever.
First, I got sick the day before New Year’s Eve. Thought it was the flu, so I cancelled my new year’s eve plans and nursed myself with package of DayQuil and NyQuil pills. 10 days later, I’m still feverish, I’ve developed a horrible cough that makes me want to vomit my insides out, and I wake up in a cold sweat every day. I finally head to the doctor, and he gives me some flu antibiotics and cough medicine. “Yay antibiotics!” I think, “My flu will be gone in no time!”
Two days later, I’ve developed hives. ALL OVER. Turns out I’m allergic to the flu antibiotics. I rush off to the doctor again. “Excuse me sir, but I have turned into some sort of FREAK OF NATURE. And my illness is still not better. Please fix me.”
